Prospective Fellows — THE WORKSHOP

The Workshop is North America’s premier professional arts fellowship centering the work of JOCISM (Jews of Color, Jewish-Indigenous, Sephardi & Mizrahi) artists & culture-makers. Conceived and founded by theatre artist and rabbi, Kendell Pinkney, The Workshop’s mission is to nurture and expand the Jewish cultural renaissance by offering wildly talented JOCISM artists intensive fellowships, meaningful community, and enduring career support.

As a JOC led arts and culture organization, The Workshop’s fellowships are designed for professional artists who identify as Jews of Color, Jewish-Indigenous (i.e. Indigenous Peoples of the Americas), Sephardic, or Mizrahi.
